We want every Socios.com user to play their part in shaping the future of our app. That’s why we’ve created our very own Fan Token – Socios United $SSU – which enables fans to vote in polls that will guide the development of new functions and features on Socios.com
Existing users will receive 1 free $SSU in their in-app wallet in the coming days, which can be used to vote in polls and to participate in team-related trivia, games and quizzes. New users will automatically be credited with 1 free $SSU. As soon as you’ve got your $SSU, you can use them to vote in our first polls to create a Socios United Dream Team (for more info see – Create A Socios United Dream Team – below).
Collect Extra $SSU With Home Hunt!
Fans can hunt down $SSU for free via our in-app Augmented Reality (AR) feature Token Hunt, which has been temporarily rebranded to Home Hunt as part of our #homewithsocios campaign, aimed at helping the millions of fans around the world who are staying home as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In order to join today’s Home Hunt and collect some tokens from your own home all you need to do is:
- Open the app and tap on the ‘Hunt’ feature
- Choose the ‘Home Hunt’ option to activate AR mode
- Look for the token on the map and hunt it down
In addition to $SSU, Chiliz $CHZ, the digital currency of Socios.com, and a limited number of Fan Tokens, will also be available via Home Hunt. Fans will be able to hunt down a new token(s) from their homes every 3 hours.
Create A Socios United Dream Team!
To kick things off, we’re running eleven concurrent polls in order to create a ‘Dream Team’ consisting of players from our roster of partner clubs. Fans can use $SSU to vote in each of the polls, choosing which player they’d most like to see in each position.
Make sure to use your $SSU as soon as you receive it (or collect via Home Hunt) and become part of a united community of fans from across the world!
$SSU Rewards
We’ll be rewarding fans with additional $SSU for acquiring, holding and voting in polls using Fan Tokens for any of our partner clubs. You’ll also receive free $SSU for engaging with other features on Socios.com.
Holding more $SSU will increase your access to amazing rewards and boost your voting power in Socios United polls, allowing our most loyal users to have the loudest voice in Socios.com matters.
The Future
In the future, Socios United will power fully fan-led initiatives, which could include the management of Socios.com owned organisations from the worlds of sport, esports & entertainment, as well as award ceremonies and fantasy rosters.
$SSU Fan Tokens cannot be bought or sold and are not available for trading purposes.
