We’ve got good news for our growing rugby community as we’re opening up our most popular features to rugby teams on the Socios.com app. Now, you can check-in to rugby matches, submit score predictions and also hunt for free Fan Tokens using the Token Hunt game.
We currently collaborate with five Rugby teams and using these features makes it easier to score XP, to level up your profile and bag SSU Loyalty Tokens.

What is our check-in feature?
When your favourite Rugby team kicks off, you’ll be able to check into the match on the Socios.com app and tell your followers where you’re watching the game from. While checking in you can also leave a comment, perhaps kicking off some pre-match debate!
What is our prediction feature?
Predicting the score is always fun and something all sports fans do, even when they don’t publish their bold predictions. Well, now you’ll be able to predict rugby scores too and get points based on your prediction. So, if you guess the correct winner, you’ll get points, and if you get the score ratio locked in also, you’ll bag maximum points. These XP will help you level up your profile and get SSUs!
What is Token Hunt?
One of the most popular and used features on the Socios.com app is Token Hunt. Token Hunt allows users to find free tokens, every single day.
When you use Token Hunt, you’ll be able to find three types of tokens: SSU Loyalty Tokens, Fan Tokens or Chiliz. When you tap the Token Hunt feature at the bottom of your screen, you’ll be taken to a map view of your current location. There, you’ll see up to five chests. Tap each chest to reveal what’s inside, and add that new token to your wallet. It is a brilliant way to engage and keep your wallet topped up. SSU Loyalty Tokens are vital for redeeming Fan Rewards, and since they are earned, not bought, you’ll do well to stack them up daily using Token Hunt.

Leicester Tigers
Leicester Tigers are based in Leicester, England. The rugby union club was founded in 1880 and is one of the most successful rugby clubs in the country, having won numerous domestic and European titles. The team plays its home matches at Welford Road Stadium, which has a capacity of over 25,000 spectators – handy for a vociferous and passionate fanbase!
Harlequins
Harlequins, also known as Quins, are also based in London, England. The club was founded in 1866 and has a rich history, with many notable players and achievements. The team’s home ground is The Stoop, located in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. Harlequins are known for a distinctive playing style, with an emphasis on attacking rugby and flair. The club has a strong connection with its supporters and has a reputation for being a welcoming and inclusive community and this is emphasised by our partnership with the team.
Stade Français Paris Rugby
French outfit Stade Français Paris Rugby are based in Paris and have perhaps got the most striking colour choice of any rugby union team with a consistent set of incredible shirts. The club was founded in 1883 and is one of the most successful rugby clubs in France, having won numerous domestic and European titles. The team plays its home matches at the Stade Jean-Bouin, which has a capacity of over 20,000 spectators. Stade Français is known for its distinctive pink jerseys and has a passionate fan base. The club has a strong tradition of producing top-level talent, with many players going on to represent the French national team.
The Sharks
Fittingly, The Sharks Rugby Union team hail from Durban, KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. This club was founded in 1995 and plays in the Super Rugby competition, which includes teams from South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. The Sharks have a strong history of success in the competition, having reached the final six times and winning the title in 1996 and 2014. The team plays its home matches at Kings Park Stadium, which has a capacity of over 50,000 spectators. The Sharks have a reputation for producing top-level talent and playing an exciting brand of rugby.
Socios.com at the Shark Fest
The 2023 Shark Fest was a brilliant success this year! Shark Fest is an annual event hosted by The Sharks rugby union team in Durban, South Africa. The event celebrates the team and fans and typically includes a range of activities and entertainment, such as live music, food stalls, and family games. It’s always a super opportunity for fans to meet the players, get autographs, and take part in rugby-themed activities. Shark Fest is also used as a platform to promote rugby at a grassroots level, with coaching clinics and skills sessions for young players.
Naturally, we had to take part too! We hid Sharks Fan Tokens in and around the Hollywoodbets Kings Park Stadium for fans to sniff them out using the Token Hunt feature. 500 Sharks Fan Tokens were up for grabs and now the new holders will use them to get closer to The Sharks using the Socios.com app.
