When Does Euro 2024 Start?
The Eurocup 2024 dates range from 14th June until 14th July 2024, with the first game and accompanying opening ceremony seeing Eurocup 2024 host country Germany face Scotland at the Allianz Arena.
It’s traditional for the hosts to put on a show on the opening evening of the tournament, and we can expect to see plenty of fantastic cultural displays of modern-day Germany. –
Where Is the 2024 Eurocup?
Germany has a rich footballing heritage, but in recent times they have been one of the most dominant international teams in world football, let alone on the European stage.
It made sense, then, for them to be the hosts of the biggest continental football tournament in the world. From Munich to Berlin, the BVB Stadion to the Olympiastadion, some of the most awe-inspiring venues in the game will be up in lights.

Football Eurocup 2024 Qualifiers
The Eurocup 2024 qualifiers began in March 2023 and ended in November of the same year. A total of 53 national teams battled over the course of the year to cement their spot in the tournament – Germany did not have to qualify for virtue of being the host nation.
Finalists for Euro 2020 (held in 2021) Italy and England have both secured their passage, while the likes of likely tournament favourites France, Spain, Belgium, Holland, and 2018 World Cup finalists Croatia will all be there.
Eurocup 2024 Groups
The Eurocup 2024 groups have been drawn and there are some mouthwatering ties to look forward to – including not one, but two obligatory ‘Groups of Death’.

H2: Eurocup 2024 Predictions and Favourites to Win
The tournament feels like an open one, which means it will be tricky to land Eurocup 2024 predictions, but there are two at the top of the pile that will attract a lot of interest – France and England.
Les Bleus should attract marginal favouritism, given their exploits in the Qatar 2022 World Cup, where they lost 4-3 in the final to Argentina in one of the greatest games of football the world has ever seen. With Kylian Mbappe, Antoine Griezmann, and Aurélien Tchouaméni to name just a few, they have the firepower to humiliate teams.
However, England will also aim to end 58 years of hurt without a major international trophy. Harry Kane remains one of the best strikers in the world, while Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, John Stones, and Jude Bellingham make up a formidable supporting cast.
