Ah, the month of August… football’s most revered month. Leagues kick-off and the transfer window keeps us glued to Fabrizio Romano’s Twitter feed till Deadline Day.

New season, new features
We couldn’t kick off the new season without any new features and in pre-season, we focused on making the Socios.com app more social. During August we also launched the UEFA Club Competition Add-on Tokens, right ahead of the European season. Now, fans can engage with their teams as they play in the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League. With your Add-on token, you can win official merch, and memorabilia and also win match tickets for your team’s home games.
Fan Rewards and top prizes
August was a cool month for Fan Rewards, which started with one lucky Italian fan meeting Roma’s Lorenzo Pellegrini to give him the “goal of the season” prize, as voted by Fan Token holders last season.
On the anniversary of Galatasaray’s historic UEFA Super Cup win, Socios invited a number of fans for an exclusive tour of the stadium and museum which was a day to remember.
Corinthians held a special Father’s Day for Fan Token holders, who got to attend a match with their dads and spread some love on the scoreboard.
$POR Fan Token holders also enjoyed a tour of the national training centre, the City of Football in Lisbon. That same venue was also used for the Uk Fan Token Cup, which was a success for all Fan Token holders involved.
Crystal Palace also held a memorable day for long-standing fan Edna, who enjoyed a day out at Palace after being voted as the club’s #1 fan! Well done Edna, you deserved an enjoyable day out!
