The NFC chip uses Socios Collectibles technology to authenticate and validate the item, making it foolproof and ensuring the ball is exactly what it says on the label. It is also fitted with a QR code, which when scanned, gives the new owner a token memory of the moment the ball hit the back of the net.
How can you own a Game-Scored Ball?
Each game week, we’ll announce the method of collection, be it via Fan Reward, competition, quiz or random draw… so we suggest you keep subscribing to our emails for more information.
The balls will be available for Fan Token holders, so ensure you have Fan Tokens in your Socios.com wallets too. Top up by following these steps:
1. Open the Socios.com app and tap on Wallet.
2. Top up your Wallet with our in-app currency, Chiliz ($CHZ)
3. Tap on Sports, tap on All Teams and then hit Football to filter out football teams. Then search for your side and get your Fan Tokens using the $CHZ you just bought.
