UEFA CLUB COMPETITIONS ‘ADD ON’ FAN TOKENS LAUNCH ON SOCIOS.COM

Fan Token holders for Socios.com partner clubs that made it to the knockout stages of this season’s 2021/2022 UEFA Club Competitions can now redeem free ‘add-on’ UEFA Club Competitions Fan Tokens.

Fan Token holders for Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Inter Milan and Atlético de Madrid, all of whom progressed to the latter stages of the UEFA Champions League, will be able to redeem free $UCL Fan Tokens. 

Barcelona, Galatasaray and AS Monaco fans will receive $UEL Fan Tokens as their clubs progressed beyond the group stages of the UEFA Europa League, while AS Roma fans will receive $UECL tokens with the club still competing in the final rounds of the UEFA Europa Conference League.

The new ‘add-on’ UEFA Club Competitions Fan Tokens are non-tradeable, valid for the duration of each season in which they are issued and to be renewed each season. Holders of UEFA Club Competitions Fan Tokens will be able to benefit in a number of ways, including the chance to win trips to UEFA Club Competitions Season Kick-Off Events, opportunities to attend games in style, the chance to visit UEFA’s HQ and opportunities to partake in digital Q&A’s with UEFA legends. UEFA Club Competitions Fan Token holders will also be eligible to receive UEFA Club Competitions merchandise and memorabilia, such as match balls, goal nets, corner flags from major games, including Finals, and much more.

The introduction of UEFA Club Competitions Fan Tokens will create more value for Socios.com’s growing community. 

Socios.com plans to run at least 500 polls in 2022 across its full roster of partners, enabling Fan Token holders to influence key fan-centric decisions on matters ranging from kit designs to squad numbers and celebration songs.  Socios.com will also reward more fans than ever before this year, with as many as 17,000 fans set to watch games for the teams they love in style. Fan Token holders will also receive unique digital rewards, including NFTs, as well as merchandise, match-worn jerseys and additional paraphernalia ,while being eligible to access exclusive discounts linked to club sponsors and other special offers and incentives linked to major brands.

UEFA Club Competitions Fan Tokens will be credited exclusively to Fan Token holders for teams that made it to the knockout stages of UEFA Club Competitions. Existing Fan Token holders will be entitled to receive a maximum of 1 free UEFA Fan Token for each competition this season.Changes to the format and roll out of UEFA Club Competitions Fan Tokens may be made next season.
