Chivas to Launch its Official Fan Token


  • The CHIVAS Fan Token will allow the club’s fans around the world to connect and engage with the team in a more active way, participate in fan-related decisions through Fan Polls and earn exclusive rewards and once-in-a-life-time experiences.

AUGUST 10TH. C.D. Guadalajara, 12-time champion of Mexico’s Liga MX, will be launching its official Fan Token CHIVAS on the fan engagement and rewards app on August 21st.

The Club, popularly known as Chivas, will join football powerhouses across the globe such as Manchester City, FC Internazionale, Paris Saint-Germain, FC Barcelona, Palmeiras and Flamengo, amongst others, all of which are already using this innovative digital tool to engage and reward their fans.      

50.000 CHIVAS Fan Tokens will be made available at 1$ via a Fan Token Offering (FTO®) that will kick off at 12pm local time (8pm CET), with purchases being capped at 100 CHIVAS during the first 24 hours to ensure as many fans as possible can access this unique opportunity.  

The CHIVAS Fan Token will give Chivas fans the chance to participate in team decisions by voting in Fan Polls on official merch designs, in-stadium celebration songs and other fan-related topics. Fans will also be able to enjoy special discounts and promotions and earn exclusive rewards for their loyalty.

Immediately after the FTO® kicks off, the first Fan Poll will be launched on Fans owning at least one (1) CHIVAS Fan Token will be able to vote to decide how the next home goal scored by El Rebaño will be celebrated at Estadio AKRON. Fans will be able to choose if they want to see a fire show, a smoke show or sparkles behind the goal.   

A few days later a new Fan Poll will be launched, giving Fan Token holders the chance to choose which player will be featured in the next episode of Raíces, a popular show aired on ChivasTV. 

One (1) CHIVAS Fan Token will be enough to vote on all the polls launched by the club and to take part in’s multiple Chivas-themed features, but the more CHIVAS Fan Tokens owned, the higher the influence and the more chances to earn rewards. is a gamified and EngageToEarn platform packed with club-themed features, including predictors, check-ins, trivia quizzes and games where fans can enjoy their passion for their team and share it with other fans across the world.
